GTA 5 online is getting the casino update soon, and fans have been teased that the first pictures of the grand theft auto DLC could be revealed soon.

Last month rockstar games confirmed that after years of waiting the GTA casino would be opening its doors in grand theft auto 5.

Ever since GTA 5 first launched almost six years ago GTA fans have been teased that a casino in los santos would be “opening soon”.

However for years the GTA casino stood inert, with it looking unlikely whether it would ever open.

But just before E3 the “opening soon” sign outside the GTA casino was removed and construction cones were placed by the entrance.

Fans were left hoping this was a sign that the GTA casino would actually be opened, and this was later confirmed a few weeks ago by rockstar games.

On twitter it was revealed that a casino would be opening soon in GTA 5, with rockstar games not long afterwards announcing the first details on it.

In a blog post, published almost two weeks ago, rockstar games revealed the GTA casino is called ‘the diamond casino & resort’.

The post said the GTA 5 casino would feature “lavish amenities, exclusive shopping, first-class entertainment and state-of-the-art gaming facilities”.

It was also teased that the GTA 5 casino DLC would be “the largest and most extravagant addition“ to GTA 5 online yet.

The blog post also teased that GTA 5 fans should “stay tuned for more details and an inside look” at the GTA 5 casino.

It had been thought that rockstar games may have revealed the first GTA casino pics last thursday.

This was because the following two thursdays rockstar had revealed a GTA casino update, so it looked like news was dropping on a weekly basis.

However, instead last thursday rockstar games announced double and triple rewards in GTA 5 online.

Fans have been left wondering when these first pictures of inside the GTA 5 casino could be revealed.

But they have been teased that an announcement could be just around the corner.

Rockstar games insider @tezfunz2 today posted a meme on twitter of someone being shown a red case with “casino inside look” written on it.

It then shows their reaction as bright gold light is shone from the case, before it is quickly shut.

Fans have taken this as a sign that a GTA 5 casino DLC reveal could be around the corner, possibly today or sometime this week.

One fan tweeted: “so we’re getting a look inside the casino this week then”.

Another posted: “is it coming today?”

One added: “if rockstar teases the inside this week then the most likely date is 18th because they can do the trailer next week and the week after that the update but we need an eye out on microsoft and sony for testing the update”.

Earlier this week rockstar games confirmed the release date for the GTA casino update and outlined what will be included in it.

The GTA 5 online casino update will be out on the PS4, xbox one and pcs on tuesday july 23 and it will bring with it the new diamond casino & resort.

The new GTA location features a casino where grand theft auto fans can play poker, blackjack, hit the slot machines or try out virtual horse racing.

The diamond casino & resort will also feature luxury penthouses, including a master penthouse with a roof terrace and infinity pool.

Outlining the update in a blog post, rockstar games said: “the massive construction project on the corner of vinewood park drive and mirror park boulevard is nearing completion, radically changing the skyline of los santos forever.

“when the brand-new diamond casino & resort opens its doors, one and all are welcome inside to play, or just to stay in the most luxurious residence in the entire state.

“more than just a place to let go of your inhibitions and your sense of the passage of time, the diamond is the one-stop destination for quality entertainment, high-end living and a range of experiences you won’t find anywhere else.”

Rockstar games also mentioned that the GTA 5 online casino update will bring with it the brand new truffade thrax supercar.

However, for petrol heads this doesn’t look like it will be the only new vehicle coming with the GTA casino update.

Rockstar games insider tezfunz2 has said the new GTA 5 online patch will bring with it loads of new supercars.

They tweeted: “lots of new super/sports cars in this update . #gtaonline”.

The twitter user also discovered files relating to a brand new website that could be launching in GTA online.

Tezfunz2 tweeted: “I found a new domain for R*/T2 made on june 28th. Http://vandalay-industries.Net.

“vandelay industries is mentioned in ‘seinfeld’ TV show, a company made up by george costanza that manufacture and sell latex.

“this matches up with R* classic humor. This could be a new website in #gtaonline”.

There are a few theories out there, including rockstar potentially wanting to avoid uproar about players gambling away their real cash on virtual games by introducing a second currency to GTA online that can't be bought with real money – chips are used as currency within the casino, which can be obtained from the cashier in limited quantities. To make the most profit in casino chips - head on down to the horse betting area and sit down at any of the machines.

You will be greeted with this screen and we will only be focusing on the single events section. Click the place bet button on the right to enter the betting screen.

You will be greeted with a list of horses on the left displaying different odds of them winning. (skip this paragraph if you already know how the game works normally). The higher up the list, the greater the chance of them winning. However, the horses with lower odds of winning will give a higher payout if they do win. You will only get money back if the horse you bet on comes in first place. Choose a horse and the betting screen on the right appears. This is where you select the amount of money you want to bet and when you are ready you place the "place bet" button to start the race.

At this point, we can perform the simple exploit. Once you have selected your horse, make sure the current amount you are betting is 100 chips. Hover the courser over the right arrow to increase the bet, and in one single action, you must click and hold the mouse then immediately move over the place bet button. Keep holding the mouse button down until the race is over half way done. You will know you have done it right if at the start of the race it has charged you 200 or 300 chips. On the occasion that your chosen horse wins, you will be paid as if you bet the max amount of chips, but you only paid 200.

Rockstar games has posted two big updates on the GTA casino - one being a teaser trailer on twitter announcing the DLC and a following blog post.

These GTA 5 online casino teasers were published in june over the space of two weeks, but since then official news has been thin on the ground.

In their last blog post rockstar games teased that in-game pictures of the GTA casino would be coming next.

However, since then no pictures of the GTA casino have been released - but that could all be about to change soon.

Today’s GTA 5 update is expected to be big and available to download on PS4, xbox one and PC very soon.

Rockstar games hasn’t provided an exact release time for the new diamond casino heist, and they aren’t expected to.

Looking at past launches, we would predict a GTA 5 update release time between 10am and 11am GMT, on december 12.

However, there’s also the chance that the new grand theft auto patch could arrive at a completely different time, so it will be worth keeping an eye on social media.

But while we don’t know when precisely the new GTA 5 online diamond casino heist will be launching, we do have some early news.

As many GTA online fans will already know, today’s update will make it possible to rob the diamond casino vault.

Rockstar games has hinted that there will be different ways of doing it, or at least variants to how the different missions play out.

And we also know that gamers will need to fork out for a new front business to complete the heist and claim the big payout.

“in order to plan the biggest heist ever perpetrated in los santos, heist crew leaders will setup an unexpected new commercial venture as a front, a retro arcade business property shrouding the nerve centre within where heist operations are staged and rehearsed,” a message from rockstar confirms.

“while the business runs above, down below you can practice hacking keypads or cracking vault doors, store equipment and getaway vehicles, and owners of existing businesses can add a master control terminal to handle all current operations.”

Rockstar is effectively creating a new nerve centre for GTA 5 fans to run all their businesses from.

This is great news and something that will help keep everything easy to run, especially when you consider more content could be added to the game in 2020.

But some early patch news has also been shared that will prove popular with twitch prime subscribers.

According to rockstar games, the new arcard property will be available to those with an active subscription and a linked account.

So if you have a twitch prime account, you will be able to claim this property for your existing portfolio at no extra charge.

Rockstar games explains in a new statement: “twitch prime members who linked accounts to their rockstar games social club account by december 8th will get free access to a new arcade property to serve as the otherwise legitimate front for your prep and planning in the diamond casino heist.

“pixel pete’s arcade – formerly a legendary hole-in-the-wall located in paleto bay – will be yours to claim from maze bank foreclosures free of charge.

“any twitch prime members in good standing who do buy this specific property at full price will be given a 100% rebate within 72 hours after purchasing it.”

So even if the game does glitch out on you and you’re forced to buy the arcade, rockstar games promises to refund you the in-game cash.

More stuff is also expected to be added to the game and will be listed in the patch notes set to be shared later today.

This is expected to happen a few hours after the GTA 5 online update goes live and the new diamond casino heist is made available.

General prep works

Patrol routes

go to a meeting of the duggan security guys, eliminate them and search for the right car. Once found, open the trunk, take a photo of the documents and send them to lester.

Duggan shipments

like a freeroam job. You have to destroy 10 shipments of these shipments, spread all over the map. Best use a helicopter for that.

Security intel

help poor vincent, who is now a mall security guy. The intel will be done in every heist when completed once.

Power drills

go to a construction site that is marked and collect either a vehicle with the drills or the drills alone. One person can carry two drills. A disguise is sometimes available.

Security pass

Level 1: acquired from a cleaning woman.

Level 2: acquired from a croupier.

We had to crash a drug-party and find the croupier to search him for his pass.

Specific prep - silent & sneaky

You have to drive round the city and shoot down drones used by the LSPD. Then just collect the dropped parts.

Go out to the desert, fight some (OP) army guys and search for the lasers. They look like this:

EMP device

go to LSIA and steal a cargobob. Then fly to the university, lift the EMP out (it is right on the open filed) and fly it to the substation of LS water and power right across the casino.

Infilitration suits

go out to human labs and kill the guards in your way (the alarm will trigger as soon as you enter) bags are in the rear (where you have to par the insurgent in the human labs heist). Bags look like this:

Thermal charges

acquire thermal charges to blow up vault door. We had to go out to sandy shores and crash a hillbilly party.

Vault explosives

we had to go out to paleto bay and recover the explosive from a sunken airplane, guarded by merryweather. Grab scuba gear and dive out to find it.

Third board - heist

Your personal weapon arsenal can be collected in either laundry or waste disposal

Silent and sneaky

Take out the electric stuff with your stun gun

Kill the guards right away, DO NOT STUN THEM! Guards with a helmet can't be killed right away. You can kill them with your knife.

We went in through waste disposal, disabling the first metal detector, in the area behint it.

After that we opened up the guard rooms and killed the guards.

In the elevator bay, there is a button in the middle of the security room, right by the window, that opens the door of a small vault. There is the daily income in there, that you can steal. Press the button, let one guy go in, close the door and wait until he has emptied the vault. The vault can be opened from the inside.

We waited for the elevator guard to pass and opened up the stairs access.

The big con

buyer: high level (is further away, but you get more money)

First: get into the gruppe sechs van and drive to the casino, to the security tunnel. You are being let in and have to drive down the tunnel, where your credentials are being checked and you are able to park the van.

Then, go down to the vault area, proceed through the manhole. To go through, you have to swipe two keycards at the (roughly) same time (time-window is roughly 4 seconds) and then just go down the winding tunnel.

Then you have a short cutscene, one knocks out the guard who opens the door and then you have to start heisting.
